Just few hours from now we all will be witnessing our 70th Independence with full enthusiasm. 15th August is celebrated as a festival by all Indians worldwide to commemorate the sacrifices of all freedom fighters. This day has become a significant day in the Indian history after India got freedom from the British Raj ... During the freedom struggle, Indians from all walks of life joined hands to oppose the British rule. Citizens from all castes, religions and regions fought shoulder to shoulder. Lets bow our heroes for their lives. The freedom movement cemented Indian unity and integrity. India is indeed like a garland containing flowers of various hues and colours.

My father himself has served in the Armed forces for 32 glorious years. And my experience as a child with my family at different stations has been a memorable and remarkable journey. And its a matter of pride and honor to see your near and dear ones too in belt services. Life is full of surprises and hardships, but its best part is that you are surrounded by armed personals 24X7X365 days with the unannounced postings. We are lucky enough to travel places and go around a lot, including beautiful and scenic places. I'm sure every army kid knows a bit of telugu, marathi, kannad, punjabi, and so on... :)There is no castes in Army, all are Indians. I Can Handle Anything ... I Am An Army Kid...
Hats off to our forces where dedication and hardwork are the hallmark.

Only the bearer knows where the shoe is pinching.
Undoubtedly they are our real heroes, safeguarding us from all directions. The feeling of being a true Indian should always be in our mind. Here's wishing all my readers a Happy Independence Day ... !
