My first experiment in paper flower making DIY

"....just some long weekend fun"

Tonight on my blog I'll be sharing an art suitable for all level crafter. If you will look around in house you are bound to find colored papers hiding somewhere collecting dust. So now its time to use those papers & get creative. I've been loving all the paper flower I've seen across the internet. I can't believe how gorgeous and realistic many of them look, and that stays pretty for months with no extra inputs required. Handmade paper flowers are the great for interior decorations because they look completely natural and lasts long. Artificial flowers are of low cost, seen made in variety of colors and can be made with different types of paper. They look the best when paired with twigs. We'll often find centerpieces of roses, buttercups or a variety of the two, but when you create your own paper flower thats a light-hearted pleasure. This is also an easy craft for children to participate in and keep them engaged and show their creations around. My little daughter has helped me out somewhere or the other.

Lets make these pretty paper flowers to brighten up your space. The following is a fun, creative and simplest way to prepare beautiful button roses on dry branches. Follow the instructions and enjoy the fun.

Supplies : 1.  Dry Branches 2.  Pink Colour Paper 3.  Scissors 4.  Glue Gun

1. Take bottle caps/bangles/compass of various sizes and draw circles of different radius.

2. Cut the pink or any color paper in round shapes.

3. Hold a pencil and draw spiral shape.

4. Now take a scissor and cut along the drawn lines.

5. Hold a quilling pin and start rolling it outside in and gently take out the pin and glue the end and your paper rose is ready.

6. Same way make these several fun and easy paper roses to stick on dry branches as shown below.

7. For the final step start making small hole at the base of each flower, put a drop of  glue using a glue stick and then start sticking the flowers on the branches. This is somehow it looks.

Live by the Sun, Love by the Moon.

Live by the S un, Love by the M oon. "To love photography is to love life in all its raw, messy, and beautiful forms. Every click of the shutter is a testament to our desire to hold onto what matters—to celebrate what we see and share it with the world." I came across this story the other day.  In this story, the sun accidentally burned the moon, who ran away.  The sun was so sad that his tears fell as rain on Earth.  The sun looked for the moon until midnight, but he fell asleep.  To this day, the sun is still looking for the moon, which is why the sun is visible in the morning and the moon is visible at night.   It’s that time of year again, when the weather is dreary and we long to see the sun, and even the moon. Together, the Moon and Sun create a perfect harmony—a balance of light and shadow, rest and action, mystery and clarity. Their love story is written across the skies, a timeless dance that connects us all to something greater. Sun is not just about i...

Pithoragarh - a hidden paradise

Pithoragarh - a hidden paradise Going to the mountains is going home.                                         - John Muir Summer vacation is the most pleasing time and are long awaited by all of us. After a year of continuous work at school, my vacations finally commenced. It's probably the happiest and most awaited period in every student and teacher's life. To improve some boredom of our daily life in the plains we once again planned to spend our vacations in our native place "Pithoragarh" - a place I die to visit every year. A trip to such place is the best way to spend my vacation.  Image Source : Deepak Chand On both sides of the road, we could see the lofty green hills, floating clouds, humming bees, delicious fresh fruits hanging, chirping of birds, soothing smell of trees and cool breeze all around. Even a large number of waterfalls were seen on our way.  ...
